Humming bird looks like she's about to feed the cactus

Shot out the window, on the freeway, from the passenger side, I just loved this man's intense face and funky helmet and had to capture it.

I can not tell you how many hours I stood patiently against my front door waiting for this mom to feed her babies. Alas, this was all she would do on film. I think this is my best humming bird shot ever cause she is sitting still. I've yet to master the flying type but with 20-30 in my yard everyday, I'm bound to succeed.

Not sure what type of daises these are but I sure like the petal shapes and colors

The reflection of my lights on my cactus and the top of the tile table gave me a cool effect.

While down in San Diego, I came across someone flying this really colorful fish kite. As I was playing around with the colors, I came up with this just as colorful sky.

Something about the colors in this soothes my soul. i wish the entire world was always this vivid in color.

I just liked the contrast between material and colors. I call this "Delicate vs. Concrete"

After pulling up the tent, found Mr. Potato Bug hiding out underneath. I swear these have got to be the scariest, ugly looking bugs I know of. Total heebie jeebies

Your Bio

I've been taking photos since I was 18 and worked at a custom B&W photofinishing lab doing hand processing for over 21 years. In 1998, I was one of a handfull of people first using the first Parabolical 360 degree lens made by the BeHere Corp. for using in the real estate and medical field back in 1998. I feel I have always been on the cutting edge of technolgy but probably out taking pictures instead of jumping on board. Now,I work at an animal hospital for over 10 years. I'm a very colorful and visual person and see a photographical image in just about everything I see. I hope you enjoy my galleries and thank you for visiting.
